Want to know how to make porridge in the microwave? Follow this simple 3 step recipe to create an easy, nutritious and delicious microwave porridge. Have breakfast ready in less than 10 minutes - without the mess! 

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • Milk, honey and fruit, to serve
METHOD
    1. Combine oats and water in MicroCook Pitcher.
    2. Place into microwave and cook, uncovered, on high/100%/800 watts for 2 minutes.
    3. Stir, then cook a further 2 minutes, or until cooked to your liking. Serve with milk, a drizzle of honey and fresh fruit.
    TupperTip: For a creamy porridge, substitute quick oats for the rolled oats with 1 cup water and 1/3 cup milk. Check after 2 minutes. It is not recommended to cook with all milk as the fat components can contribute to boil over.
