Extremely practical, this silicone Basting Brush is perfect for glazing biscuits and desserts, sprinkle and oil the meat with aromatic herbs or marinades, oil baking and brush with egg yolk to obtain a golden effect. It has an ergonomic handle for a comfortable grip, complete with side hook that allows you to place it on the worktop avoiding to dirty it and / or hook it to the edge of a container while not in use to collect any drops. The silicone part is wider to brush more quantities of glaze, marinating, butter and the silicone bristles have a conical shape wider in the base and thinner at the end to minimize the signs while sprinkling. Flexible and resistant, it does not deform and does not release bristles. At the centre of the bristles there is a tongue-shaped grid that helps to retain more liquid and allows you to brush more evenly. This new design has a new closing system to protect the silicone part and store it hygienically (to open the silicone part, push the appropriate side tongue with the thumb and rotate until the "click" is the opposite to close).

• Cavity in the handle collects any liquid droplets keeping the handle and fingers clean. It also allows the silicone head to dry thoroughly, even when folded.
• The handle is ergonomically designed for a comfortable grip. A hook on the handle allows it to rest on a kitchen countertop without touching the surface to ensure countertop remains clean. Its also handy to hang the Basting Brush on a bowl, therefore the liquid drips directly into the bowl, not the countertop
• As the brush head is made of silicone, it will not lose bristles like normal basting brushes made of pig hair or silk bristles. The silicone withstands temperatures from -25º C up to +220º C. Flexible bristles that keep their shape and will not deform with normal domestic use.

• To avoid the absorption of strong odours (garlic, onion, etc) rinse the Basting Brush with cold water immediately after each use
• Only the silicone components are heat resistant (+220º C), do not expose the Basting Brush handle or head to high temperatures or heat sources.
• If basting meat on a barbecue, take care not to expose the Basting Brush to direct flame as this may damage the product.
• Do not use on sharp surfaces (e.g. open cans, blades) as this may damage the silicone
