Chef Series Pancakes

MAKES 5 x 1/3 cup pancakes PREPARATION TIME 10 min.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 cups plain flour
  • 2/3 cup caster sugar
  • 3 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp vanillin sugar (optional)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Pancakes
  • 1 cup mix
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk of your choice
  • Butter, for cooking

METHOD

  1. This blend has finely ground oats added for a little extra fibre and texture!
  2. Place oats into an Extra Chef™ fitted with triple blade attachment. Lock in the cover and pull several times until oats are finely blended. Place into a large Modular Mates™ container. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Seal container. Store in the pantry until ready to use.


For pancakes:

  1. Place mix into a Thatsa® Bowl Junior. Add egg and milk. Whisk with KP Beater until smooth.
  2. Add some butter to a Chef Series II 28cm Fry Pan. Add 1/3 cup mixture or ¼ cup if you like smaller ones. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Flip and cook remaining side until firm to touch. Remove and repeat. Serve with fruit, syrup and optional yoghurt.


Fluffy Gluten Free Buckwheat Pancake Mix

MAKES 6x 1/3 cup pancakes

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ½ cups buckwheat flour
  • 1 cup gluten free plain flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 6 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional extras- vanilla powder/cinnamon
For pancakes:
  • 1 cup mix
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup milk of your choice
  • Butter, for cooking.
