Mediterranean grilled skewers with meatballs

For the meatballs:

1 small onion

15 g flat-leaf parsley

400 g mixed minced meat

1 egg

40 g of cream cheese

40 g breadcrumbs

2 teaspoons medium hot mustard

1-2 teaspoons tomato paste

1 garlic clove, crushed to taste

salt, pepper and paprika powder

Additional ingredients for the skewers depending on your taste:

Grilled cheese, peppers, courgettes, mushrooms, onions

Oil for brushing

Preheat the oven to 220 °C top/bottom heat.

Peel the onion, cut into large pieces with a paring knife and finely chop in the SuperSonic Compact Chopper. Then pour into a mixing bowl.

Now finely chop the parsley leaves and add to the onions together with the minced meat, egg, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, mustard and the tomato paste, and if necessary also the garlic clove using the Garlic Press.

Knead everything into a mass and season with the spices.

Portion and form 16 meatballs.

Cut the remaining ingredients into pieces and thread them onto four wooden skewers, alternating with the meatballs.

Place the Mediterranean grill skewers next to each other in the PremiaGlass grill dish. Brush the surface, especially the vegetables, with a little oil and cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes, turning in between.

Pro tip for Mediterranean grilled skewers:

Instead of meatballs, you can of course also use chicken breast fillet, fish or shrimp. Depending on your choice, you may have to adjust the baking time a bit. A colourful summer salad and freshly baked flatbread go very well with it.
