INGREDIENTS (serves 4-6)

  • 1 bottle (750ml) of red wine (dry or medium-bodied, like Tempranillo or Merlot)
  • 1–2 cups of fresh fruit, sliced (e.g., oranges, lemons, limes, apples, or berries)
  • 1/4 cup brandy (optional, for an extra kick)
  • 2–4 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1–2 cups soda water or sparkling water (for a fizzy finish)
  • Ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare your fruit by slicing them fruits into thin rounds or bite-sized pieces and placing them into your Hydrolife Carafe or bowl
  2. Sprinkle the sugar or drizzle honey over the fruit, then lightly muddle with a mixing spoon to release the fruit juices.

  3. Add the red wine, brandy (if using), and orange juice to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.

  4. Chill the sangria and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2–4 hours, or overnight, to let the flavors meld together. If short on time, you can serve right away.

  5. Just before serving, you can add soda water or sparkling water for a refreshing sparkle. You can adjust sweetness if needed.

  6. Pour the sangria into tumblers filled with ice and garnish with extra fruit slices if desired. Enjoy!
