INGREDIENTS (serves 4-6)
- 1 bottle (750ml) of red wine (dry or medium-bodied, like Tempranillo or Merlot)
- 1–2 cups of fresh fruit, sliced (e.g., oranges, lemons, limes, apples, or berries)
- 1/4 cup brandy (optional, for an extra kick)
- 2–4 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1–2 cups soda water or sparkling water (for a fizzy finish)
- Ice cubes
INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare your fruit by slicing them fruits into thin rounds or bite-sized pieces and placing them into your Hydrolife Carafe or bowl.
-
Sprinkle the sugar or drizzle honey over the fruit, then lightly muddle with a mixing spoon to release the fruit juices.
-
Add the red wine, brandy (if using), and orange juice to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
-
Chill the sangria and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2–4 hours, or overnight, to let the flavors meld together. If short on time, you can serve right away.
-
Just before serving, you can add soda water or sparkling water for a refreshing sparkle. You can adjust sweetness if needed.
-
Pour the sangria into tumblers filled with ice and garnish with extra fruit slices if desired. Enjoy!
