INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy, like almond, oat, or soy)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (or sweetener of your choice)
- 1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional toppings: Whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
- Warm up the milk in a medium-sized saucepan and heat over medium-low heat. Stir the milk occasionally to prevent scorching.
- In a small bowl, combine the cocoa powder and sugar. This helps to evenly distribute the cocoa without lumps.
- Gradually whisk the cocoa-sugar mixture into the warm milk until fully dissolved.
- Stir in the chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips. Continue stirring until melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top with your favorite additions—whipped cream, marshmallows, or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra coziness.
- Enjoy your cozy drink in your Big T Tumbler!
