Flourless Chocolate Cake



  • 275 g dark chocolate,
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup (75g) caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 260 g almond meal
  • Ganache:
  • 180 g dark chocolate, (50% cocoa or higher)
  • 180 ml  thickened cream


  1. Break chocolate into pieces and place in the MicroCook Pitcher 1L. Microwave uncovered at 600 watts for 2 minutes 30 seconds. Stir until melted.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients in the Thatsa® Bowl Junior. Add chocolate and mix until smooth.

  3. Clean MicroCook Pitcher 1L and grease. Add cake batter and microwave at 600 watts for 6 minutes 30 seconds. Cover and allow to rest for 5–10 minutes. Unmold onto a serving plate.

  4. Place chocolate and cream into clean MicroCook Pitcher 1L. Microwave at 600 watts for 2 minutes. Stir to combine. Pour over warm cake. Serve with ice cream or cream as desired.
