Micro Pro Grill Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pita (choose souvlaki pitas which are slightly thicker than traditional thin pitas) about 22cm diameter
  • 2 tbsp tomato pasta sauce of your choice
  • 1/2 cup Pizza Blend cheese or grated mozzarella
  • 1/2 zucchini, or pumpkin shaved with a peeler
  • 5-6 olives
  • 4-6 roasted capsicum strips
  • Basil leaves
  • Other Toppings
  • Fresh ricotta, artichokes and spinach
  • Salami, olives and oregano
  • Pumpkin, ricotta and olives

 

METHOD
  1. Place pita in MicroPro® Grill. Spread over sauce, sprinkle over cheese, then add zucchini, olives and capsicum. 

  2. Place cover in high position and microwave on high/100% power/900 watts for 6-7 minutes, or until base is crisp and cheese melted. Scatter over basil leaves. Repeat to make more pizzas.
