- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 ½ cups Arborio rice
- Pinch saffron or turmeric
- 3 ½ cups hot chicken stock
- 30 g butter, chopped
- Chopped parsley, or shredded spinach
- 40 g shaved parmesan cheese
Combine onion, garlic, rice, saffron or turmeric and stock in a Micro Pressure Cooker. Lock in cover and cook in microwave on high/100%/900 watts for 20 minutes.
Remove and allow pressure indicator to drop. Unlock cover and stir in butter, parsley or spinach if using and parmesan. Season with pepper.
