Banana Nice Cream

SERVES 6 Persons  PREPARATION TIME 15 min.

INGREDIENTS

BASIC BANANA 'NICE' CREAM:

  • 450g frozen banana pieces
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of cinnamon

CHOC BANANA 'NICE' CREAM:

  • 450g frozen banana pieces
  • 2-3 tbs cacao powder
  • 1-2 tbs almond or coconut milk

MINT CHOC CHIP 'NICE' CREAM:

  • 450g frozen banana pieces
  • 1/8 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2-3 tbs cacao nibs or mini chocolate chips/shavings

BERRY 'NICE' CREAM:

  • 450g frozen banana pieces
  • 100g frozen berries
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

METHOD

  1. Remove banana from the freezer and allow to stand for 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sorbet by placing the banana through the Fusion Master Sorbet Maker.
  3. Choose a flavour of choice. Add remaining ingredients; stir through.
  4. Decorate with any toppings of choice and serve immediately*.
  5. Use the Ice Cream Scoop for the perfect scoop every time.

Tupper Tips:

  • *Alternatively, store in a Freezer Keeper – make sure to smooth over ice cream with a TupperChef Spatula Medium before covering.
  • Serve ice cream with granola, fresh fruit, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, homemade choc topping (recipe on website) or your toppings of choice.         
  • For a sweeter ice cream, add 1-2 tbs of raw honey or maple syrup.
  • The best way to freeze bananas is to use overripe, brown spotty bananas. Peel and chop the bananas and place into a Freezer Keeper.
