Micro Pressure Cooker 3 Way Sauce Mix

SPAG BOL 

SERVES: 4-6
DIFFICULTY: EASY
COST: LOW

INGREDIENTS 

  • 500gms mince (beef or meat-free alternative)
  • 2 x Carrots, diced
  • 2 x celery sticks, diced
  • 1 x Medium Onions, diced
  • 1-2 x cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 x can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 x can tomato soup
  • 1 x tspn dried oregano
  • 1 x tspn dried basil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese to serve

METHOD

  1. Add mince, carrots and celery to Micro Pressure Cooker – smoosh together using KP Simple Spoon or TupperChef Spatula Medium.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients (except parmesan cheese) – mix together.
  3. Place cover on Micro Pressure Cooker and lock. Place Micro Pressure Cooker in the Microwave at 900watts for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, serve with cooked pasta of your choice and sprinkle on parmesan cheese.

 

TACO MIX

SERVES: 4-6
DIFFICULTY: EASY

INGREDIENTS

FILLING

  • 1 x batch of spag bol mix (above)
  • 2 x tbsp taco seasoning

METHOD

  1. Add mince, carrots and celery to Micro Pressure Cooker – smoosh together using KP Simple Spoon or TupperChef Spatula Medium.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients (except parmesan cheese) – mix together.
  3. Place cover on Micro Pressure Cooker and lock. Place Micro Pressure Cooker in the Microwave at 900watts for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Serve with your choice of taco shells (hard or soft) and other taco toppings like shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, guacamole and tasty cheese.

 

COTTAGE PIES 

SERVES: 4-6
DIFFICULTY: EASY
COST: LOW

INGREDIENTS

FILLING

  • 1 x batch of spag bol mix (above)
  • 1 tbspn Worcestershire sauce
  • ½-1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)

TOPPING

  • 800gms x sweet potato, roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 20gm x butter
  • 1/3 cup parmesan
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup tasty cheese

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180⁰C.
  2. Cook the spag bol mix as per the instructions above and add the mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce with the tomatoes, soup and herbs.
  3. While the sauce mix is cooking place the sweet potatoes into the Chef Series™ II 2.5L Saucepan of boiling water and boil until cooked through (test with a bamboo skewer).
  4. Remove sweet potatoes from heat, drain and then add back to the saucepan. Mash the sweet potato with the KP Masher, until desired consistency then stir in the milk, butter, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese.
  5. Once the sauce mix has finished pour into the base of the Ultra Pro 3.3L Rectangle. Spoon the sweet potato mash over the sauce mix and then top with tasty cheese.
  6. Cook in the oven until filling is bubbly and topping is golden.
