Everyone in Tupperware has the same opportunity to date parties. You all work with the same tools: Thank You Gifts, Host Gifts, products. It is up to the individual as to how successful they are, or how successful they want to be.
OUTSIDE DATINGS ARE THE SECRET
No-one, not even the most successful Manager or Demonstrator depends entirely on dating from their parties to keep their business growing. They invest an hour each day (5 days) contacting past Hosts and Guests.
Here’s some ideas to get your started:
1) Get into the habit of speaking to 5 people a day. By limiting your conversations, each call should take only 3 to 5 minutes. Allow one hour for making calls, there will be those calls made where there is no answer.
You will find this time spent each day will pay off in many more parties dated.
2) Go Friend Finding in your neighbourhood - this is where you put on your smile and your name badge, take your dairy, a Tupperware product, catalogues/previews and some games gifts. By talking to your neighbours, you’re letting them know you are their local Tupperware Demonstrator, that you are providing them with a service.
Are they familiar with Tupperware? Do they have Tupperware? Do they need any replacements? Invite them to have a few friends together (date). Leave them with a games gift for taking the time to speak with you, even if they don’t date a party.
3) Always take your ‘snacks/nibbles’ in Tupperware to the sports ground, dance class, anyplace.
When buying deli items or cakes, take Tupperware containers with you to help eliminate waste. This also showcases your products and stimulates conversation.
When you work at Outside Datings, you will reap the rewards. If you only make 3 or 4 contacts a week, you will be setting yourself up for disappointment. To find the “yes’s” you need to ask 20 – 25 people a week.
Every Manager and Demonstrator in Tupperware started with a Opportunity Kit. Your success depends on how much or how well you use your opportunities. Attend Training Sessions, Sales Meetings, Unit Meetings or a successful dater’s party. No-one is an ‘instant success’. The difference between successful Managers and Demonstrators and those not so successful is the amount of time devoted to their business!!

Method
Mix the Host with Party Planning, until thoroughly absorbed.
Add the desire to qualify for one or more Host Gifts.
Add, an eye catching display, with different levels and coordinated colours.
Mix in a well chosen activity or recipe, until everyone is relaxed.
Blend Party Guests with interactivity and have the well informed, groomed Demonstrator share tips and hints.
Add to this demonstration ideas on Host Gifts, Thank You Gifts and why a Tupperware get-together is beneficial.
Finally, add fun, enthusiasm and friendliness, freely sprinkled with dating bids.
Keep blending in a warm relaxed room for 1 ½ hours, then serve with smiles.
They will come back for more.
If you leave the essence out of a cake, you have no flavour – Leave the Party Planning out of your success recipe and you will lose the rich results of 10 – 12 Guests - great party planning builds attendance and outside orders.
