Anniversary Parties
With Tupperware’s birthday month all but over, it’s a timely to talk about your own birthday, or should we say anniversary.
Each year you have an opportunity to celebrate when you started with Tupperware. As a Demonstrator or Manager this is a great way to continue to connect with those who got you started in your business.
As a Manager about to celebrate my first year (almost 17yrs ago… how time flies when you're having fun) my Director suggested that I celebrate the week I started by promoting my Anniversary Week with past and future Hosts.
So I set to work and made my list of the Hosts I would love to party with in my special anniversary week.
I set my goals and planned to hold as many personal parties I could in that one week to give my personal programme a boost.
After writing my list, I purchased some 1 year old birthday cards, wrote a personal message inviting the recipient of my birthday card to be one of my special anniversary Hosts and part of my 1st birthday celebration.
Once posted it was important to make sure that I followed up quickly. The reactions were mixed, however I have to tell you the reactions were all positive and “fun”. Some thought I was a bit mad sending them a 1 year old birthday card, however it got their attention. And our parties are fun so why not be a bit out there, and have a laugh too.
Did everyone who received an invitation to host a party hold their party in my special week? No, but I can tell you I did have contacts to follow up for future parties, and all wished me well with my goal.
So how did I go? Well with the help of my wonderful Hosts I did achieve my goal and had a great week, holding eight parties. It did wonders for my business, not to mention my bank balance.
Celebrating my Tupperware anniversary is something that I did every year, and once I promoted to a Manager…guess what? Yep, we had an anniversary month for our team.
Everyone loves a party and what better reason to party than to celebrate your anniversary in Tupperware.
So my challenge to you is if you haven’t had your anniversary this year plan one and share the goal, if you’re anniversary has passed, have one anyway!!
We would love to hear stories of your anniversary parties, so why not share them on our Tupperware Facebook page for everyone to enjoy.
