In June 2009, Tupperware hosted six very excited Director Couples on a whirlwind trip to exotic Shanghai. Staying at the luxurious Le Meridien Hotel for three nights, the Directors experienced the best that Shanghai has to offer, including a cruise on the Huangpu River, a visit to the famous Jade Temple, sampling the local and delicious dumplings, a sumptuous dinner at “M on the Bund”, a restaurant with a view of the vibrant city skyline and of course, time to hit the shops. The group was then whisked away to Xi’an for one night to visit the ancient Terracotta Warriors; an amazing experience.

Following on from this Incentive trip, all Directors from Australia and New Zealand met in Beijing for their Annual Conference. The venue this year was the beautiful Regent Hotel, located a mere 10 minute stroll from Tiananmen Square and the historic Forbidden City.

The five day Conference was one of sharing, recognition, training, fun, activities, fabulous food and friendship which culminated in a once in a lifetime experience. Our final night dinner was held on the Great Wall of China, a truly spiritual and emotional experience and one that will stay with our Directors and Staff for the years to come.
