Rachel Stuart -
Demonstrator of the Month

Hi Rachel, thanks for talking to us today. How did you achieve such great activity in RBW to have your team be recognized as the top unit?
Record Breaker Week is a very important week for my team, Sonic Rock has traditionally been in the top 1 or 2 at Suncity every year since I became a manager and I’m driven to ensure we stay in the tops.

Building parties from RBW into December and January is vital for success – what plans do you have in place to ensure you and your team succeeds in Dec / Jan?
My focus on RBW starts in October and November and my energies are channeled into recruiting and promoting. New recruits and new managers bring enthusiasm into the team and boost morale and excitement which in turn creates a “snowball” effect. My theory has always been to lead from example and I try to stay positive, encouraging and enthusiastic and hope the team follows my lead. Each one of my demonstrators and managers is important to me and the team as a whole. I’m conscious of reminding them about the effect of their input and how beneficial each party is. I pack my diary full of personal parties leading up to RBW and hope the team follows my lead.

Encouraging the team to book parties into December and January from their RBW is essential. This year is easier than past years because of the amazing mystery packs for hosts booking parties after RBW. The January package is also sensational and the 2011 50th anniversary promotion will really encourage our hosts and demonstrators to strive to achieve more in January.

Can you give us 5 top tips to secure your parties dated into January?
To ensure your parties stick in January, its essential to keep in contact with your hosts via email, post and phone. Be excited about the party so your excitement shines through in your voice or on paper and filters through to your host. Encourage hosts to collect outside orders from friends and relatives who are on holidays and to remind them that you are coming to their party even if they only have 2 guests. You may also wish to hold back the host gifts from the hosts original party if you are concerned the party booking may not hold.

Anything else you’d like to add?
RBW is a week to work hard and set goals. The repercussions of RBW should flow on throughout 2011 and set you up for a fantastic January.
