Rebecca McIntyre -
Demonstrator of the Month
Congratulations on becoming a Star Manager Rebecca! Can you tell us a little about how you and your Team set and achieved this goal?
As soon as Star Manager was released, I had the goal for Double Dreams to be a Star Manager team. I shared the goal with my team and my promote outs, and got them all on board so we could collectively work together to achieve the goal.
We tracked it weekly and I would update my team on our progress. It was a really special moment for us when it happened, especially since we were the first team in our Distributorship to achieve Star Manager status since its release over 12 months ago.
What other rewards have you achieved since promoting to Manager in 2010?
I’ve achieved lots of personal and professional rewards since promoting in 2010, but one of the most life changing moments was going to Beijing in April last year. The amazing sense of achievement was overwhelming when I stood on the Great Wall of China and reflected on my hard work and on the opportunity I have been given by this wonderful Company.
A recent reward was at Christmas just gone. I was able to pay for all our Christmas expenses solely from the money I had earned from Tupperware. The most important rewards we receive as Managers, and the reason why I continue to enjoy and love this business, is the ability to change people’s lives. We can give anyone that is willing to learn and work hard their own successful business, and that remains one of the best rewards I receive from Tupperware.
What are your Business Goals for 2012?
My business goals are to continue to work with my team and promote outs, and work towards Executive Manager by the end of year. And, of course, to take my family to Fiji in October!
What are your Personal Goals (that you feel you can share with the Tupperware World for 2012)?
When I started in Tupperware 2 years ago, I wanted to earn enough money for me and my husband to go to Las Vegas for my 30th birthday. I was 30 in October gone and we are planning our trip for July of this year, thanks to Tupperware!
What are your Top three tips for setting yourself a goal and reaching it?
My first tip is to share your goal. Once you’ve made the decision to achieve a certain goal, you have to share it with everyone, your family, your friends and your team. The more you say it out loud, the more real it is and the harder you will work to achieve it.
My second tip is to break down your goal into quarters, months and weeks. Make a visual board and track it weekly. You need to monitor how you are going and celebrate the milestones on the way.
My third tip is to never give up! We all have days where we think it is impossible, that we will never achieve our goals but the trick is to push past these feelings and thoughts and to be positive and believe in yourself and also your team. Remember, our attitude in life determines life’s attitude towards us and attitude is a choice. We are the only ones that can make or change that choice.
