Coral Coast -
Distributorship of the Month

Hi Janet and Michael, thanks for speaking to us today. What part do your managers play in ensuring good team activity?

• Our Managers have constant contact with their team. They attend a Sales Meeting every week to keep in touch and keep their team motivated.
• Pin pointing how close they date their parties.
• Always having demonstrators building programs for Managership

Please identify 3 key points of advise that you give to anyone working towards consistent party program.

• Date in close
• Pack a week
• Send confirmation cards to hosts

Can you identify an individual within your team that has shown growth through consistent activity and share their story?

Renee Myers from Cairns. Let's let her speak for herself! :)

Hi, my name is Renee Myers and I started Tupperware January last year.

My closest friend was selling Tupperware and she told me about the benefits which made me very interested.
At the time, I had an 11 month old son and was 5 months pregnant with my second child. I was not working but wanted to earn some extra money.

I saw her working her own hours plus having a great time, spending time with her young family and earning loads of money, and the fact I didn’t have to outlay any money to start is what made me sign on the dotted line.

My husband and I own a very busy business and he works long hours, with the kids at home, I needed to make sure I could control the hours I worked. By doing this, I have the opportunity to spend as much time raising my children without the need for daycare which saves us loads of money.

It’s great that I can work whenever I want, to have control of how much I earn, all with the reassurance that I’m not sacrificing my family.

To give you an idea of how I work my business, every week I;
1. Plan one month in advance
2. Cross out the days/nights that I’m unable to work due to family time and other commitments.
3. Tuesday nights is free for for Sales Meeting. I believe I should attend these meetings to help develop my skills to make my business more successful.
4. With all my parties booked in, I make sure I’m at least half an hour early to set up and greet the host and leave the party within 2 hours
5. Every Wednesday morning is packing day. I spend no more than an hour packing and preparing my kits for the next party. This includes stamping new catalogues and preparing gift bags
6. Thursday is delivery day and making phone calls and sending confirmation cards etc. This is the day that I make sure I have planned the week ahead in my diary.

For me, I like to hold 3 parties a week. If I see my diary bare, I use my Client Growth Portfolio to source more parties. This is an Excel spreadsheet that I have created including client’s names, addresses and contact numbers, those that use DWOS have access to their customer database too (ask your Director if your unsure)
The clients on this list are previous Hosts and Customers that have made purchases with me in the past (potential Hosts).

I also keep these clients updated with new products and offers via email. I update this list each week adding new names, and this is how I keep myself motivated and my business growing.

I love what Tupperware has provided, my children are now old enough where I feel I’m ready to expand my business to become a Manager. I look forward to the next challenge in my Tupperware career.

Thank you

Renee Myers, Cairns
