Pay cash this christmas
Where did this year go? Christmas is just around the corner, and although it is a joyous time to be spent with family and friends, it can also be a time where money is in short supply.
Debra Callow Tupperware’s National Sales Manager shares with us how she made the most of her Tupperware business in the lead up to the festive season.
Hello to our Wonderful Tupperware Team!
In my early years as a Tupperware Demonstrator I understood the power of the Party, and what it difference it could do for my family and how I could pay ‘cash’ for Christmas with my Tupperware money, rather than using my credit card and having a hefty bill arrive in January, not an ideal way to start the New Year.
So let me share with you a successful formula that I’ve used, so you can pay ‘cash’ at Christmas.
So how do you start?
1. Make your Christmas gift list – don’t forget anyone!
2. Identify the cost of each gift
3. Calculate how many parties you will need to hold to be able to purchase each gift.
4. Set your party goal
5. Let’s go shopping!
Here’s an example
Gift Number of
Cost parties needed
For Him
• Concert Tickets to his favourite band or show (2 tickets) $300.00 = 2.2 parties
For Her
• Day Spa Treatment $200.00 = 1.5 parties
For the Kids
• Play Station $330.00 = 2.4 parties
• Trampoline $280.00 = 2.0 parties
• I pod Touch $240.00 = 1.7 parties
$1,350.00 10 parties* (rounded)
*We used a $680.00 party average to calculate the number of parties required
Got the idea?
You can also use this example for food and drinks if you’re hosting Christmas lunch this year.
